Create a Filiera to multiply the impact

In 2022, OMTRA, together with Cooperativa Sociale di Lavoro e Solidarietà di Lainate (the Social Cooperative for Work and Solidarity of Lainate), founded Filiera ONLUS & Purpose Driven Organizations, an association to create synergies between B Corps, NGOs, foundations and institutions in order to give dignity through work to people in need.

Vision

To bring together with equal dignity Purpose Driven Organizations (such as certified B Corporations), Third Sector Entities (such as NGOs), Institutions and Foundations, to create jobs for those in need.

Mission

To disseminate the principles of Corporate Social Responsibilty (CSR) and shared value creation for a regenerative and circular economy by linking and coordinating B Corps, Third Sector Entities, Institutions and Foundations.

Values and guidelines

The core values that guide our activities are trust, respect, cooperation, ethics and legality.

EQUAL DIGNITY: Filiera recognizes the value of every actor involved in the effort to promote CSR and works to ensure that everyone is treated with equal dignity.

COLLABORATION: Inherent in Filiera is the value of collaboration, through the exchange of best practices and sharing success stories to enhance local communities and protect the environment.

SUSTAINABILITY: Sustainability is the principle that drives our projects. We believe that true transformation cannot disregard a focus on Social, Environmental and Economic Sustainability.

Our Activities

Project

Coordination

We identify and coordinate projects that can involve Purpose Driven Organizations and Third Sector Entities, especially for the creation and sharing of job offers among these actors.

Networking

Events

We organize and participate in events to promote discussion and development of projects focused on corporate social responsibility. Events can take place in companies, Chambers of Commerce, universities, institutions, etc.

Job Creation and

Alliance Database

We are in the process of developing our website which will include a database for the member entities of Filiera to network and share information, including the opportunity for companies and NGOs to share job openings.

Founding Members

For over 67 years, OMTRA has shown a concrete commitment to community welfare by employing 30+ youth in need.

Since 2022, it has been EcoVadis certified and adhered to the Charter for Equal Opportunity and Equality at Work.

Since 2023 it has been certified B Corp.

OMTRA is an Ambassador in Italy of United Way, an American Foundation established in 1887 operating internationally.

Cooperativa Sociale di Lavoro e Solidarietà in Lainate is a non-profit organization, which since 1992 has been employing about 50 disabled people supported by an adequate number of able-bodied workers and a congruent number of volunteers.

It promotes the professionalization of disadvantaged people.

In 2022, 20 companies commissioned work from the cooperative.
