We believe that companies have an important and fundamental role to play in the creation of social value in the communities in which they operate.
We commit ourselves to making a useful contribution to the town in which we work, making this a distinguishing feature of our company and thereby combining profit, the environment and the social structure surrounding us. We have for decades been implementing the corporate social responsibility of our company and our form of concrete action is demonstrable, even though it is deliberately “kept below the surface” with respect to the persons involved. In 2022 OMTRA adhered to the Charter for Equal Opportunity and Equality at Work, a declaration of intent voluntarily signed by companies for the dissemination of an inclusive corporate culture and human resources policies, free of discrimination and prejudice, and capable of valuing talent in all its diversity.

OMTRA’s support includes an analysis of the opportunities available regarding social sustainability, for example through the identification of volunteering actions and the creation of partnerships with Third Sector actors (such as non-profit organizations). We also provide social awareness training courses for company executives and their employees.

OMTRA and United Way España
OMTRA is Ambassador in Italy of the Fundación United Way España, a member of the North American non-profit organization of the same name, United Way, founded in 1887, and part of an international network of over 1,100 local affiliates. Together we are creating projects of social benefit, which represent a point of reference for United Way in Italy.

OMTRA Academy
In 2023 OMTRA has formalized its role as an educator through the OMTRA Academy initiative.
The main objective is to extend the company's knowledge and skills to a young and international team with the common goal of ESG.

the Filiera Project
In 2022, OMTRA, together with Cooperativa Sociale di Lavoro e Solidarietà of Lainate (Milan), founded the Association Filiera Onlus & Organizzazioni Purpose Driven to create synergies among B Corps, NGO, Foundations and Institutions with the aim of creating new jobs for disadvanted people and supporting local communties.
OMTRA offers support in identifying the best strategies in this field. For example, we support companies in adhering to the Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality at Work, with the related annual corporate diversity survey. It consists of a declaration of intent voluntarily signed by companies for the diffusion of an inclusive corporate culture and human resources policies, free from discrimination and prejudice, capable of enhancing talents in all their diversity.
