OMTRA Srl Benefit Company, historical leader in Italy in Information Governance, has adhered to the Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality in the Workplace, a declaration of voluntarily intent signed by companies for the diffusion of an inclusive corporate culture and human resource policies, free from discrimination and prejudice, capable of enhancing talents in all their diversity. The Charter is promoted by the Sodalitas Foundation, an organization active in Italy and in the EU in the promotion of corporate social responsibility.
By signing this charter, OMTRA Società Benefit strengthens its commitment by contributing to the fight against all forms of discrimination in the workplace and to the enhancement of diversity within the company through an inclusive human resources management system.
"Our company, a Benefit Company since 2021 and Ecovadis certified since 2022, has always been passionately committed to a sustainable future, and is characterized by a strong sense of social responsibility and a vocation for inclusion" comments Giovanna Giulia Spadoni, CEO of OMTRA. “Our goal is to integrate business growth with the creation of knowledge and innovation in the Information Governance, Cybersecurity and ESG sectors, guaranteeing savings to customers and at the same time developing policies to achieve gender equality and to value people in their uniqueness.”
“OMTRA Società Benefit has always combined profit, the environment and the society that surrounds it, committing itself to the collective well-being and making this a distinctive part of the company’s identity. We have been implementing Corporate Social Responsibility for decades and our way of acting is concretely demonstrable” commented Giorgio Spadoni, President of the Board of Directors of OMTRA Società Benefit. “In the past we have hired people with disabilities and we are currently working on a similar project in collaboration with local NGOs. With the signing of this charter, our company takes another concrete step within a broader policy that we are pursuing with determination to promote an open and inclusive corporate culture.”
The Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality in the Workplace was launched in 2009 by the Sodalitas Foundation, following German and French initiatives. The European Commission has recognized the role of Diversity Charters in making a concrete contribution to combating discrimination in the workplace and promoting fairness by establishing the European Platform of Diversity Charters.
Today, OMTRA Srl Società Benefit is active in the ESG consultancy sector, in the field of Cybersecurity and ITAD (IT Asset Disposal) for the reuse and recycle of IT devices, as well as providing archiving and certified and secure document destruction services.
