We provide document destruction services directly at the Client’s premises, on-site, or at our OMTRA Records Center in Lainate, off-site. Every activity is carried out according to controlled and traceable procedures, in compliance with DIN 66399, applicable standards and GDPR requirements for the protection of confidential information.
We protect confidential information from the very first stage of collection by providing aluminium Confidential Bins specifically designed for the service, as well as OMTRA boxes patented with EUIPO and equipped with security seals, available in different sizes. These practical and secure solutions ensure that documents remain protected until collection, transport and subsequent destruction.
We guarantee a controlled and traceable chain of custody throughout every stage of the service. Transport is carried out using geolocated vehicles equipped with double-locking systems and access restricted to authorised personnel. Routes can be tracked door-to-door, reducing the risk of unauthorised access and ensuring continuous protection of confidential information.
Upon request, the destruction process can be video recorded at the Client’s premises, at the OMTRA Records Center or directly on our specially equipped vehicle, providing additional evidence of the operations performed. At the end of the service, we issue a Certificate of Destruction, ensuring transparency, verifiability and documented confirmation that the process has been properly completed.
Materials resulting from the destruction process are sent through responsible recovery and recycling channels. Through the OMTRA Green Report, we translate environmental results into measurable indicators, including COâ‚‚ emissions, water footprint, recovered materials and waste diverted from disposal. The resulting data can support ESG objectives, sustainability reporting and corporate sustainability strategies.
