Information Governance
& Security Association
IGSA is a non-profit association established in 2015, with the aim of promoting and developing informational activities to raise awareness about information governance in public and private companies, and in government agencies.
The association was founded by OMTRA Società Benefit, a family business operating in the field of Information Management and ESG Consultancy, and BluSec, a service company for the protection of corporate assets.
The association's main objectives include:
- to offer a collaborative relationship between companies and governmental bodies, to increase awareness about the management of information inside and outside the perimeter of companies and governmental bodies;
- to analyze the risk of information loss in public and private companies using skill and competence matured by the founding members over several years of service to government bodies and multinationals, as active members of international, American and European associations, such as i-Sigma and ARMA International, to adopt shared methodologies and tools providing specific skills in the territorial area with consolidated experience and relationships;
- to create and implement systems and programs for Security Policy, Legal Compliance, Organization of Information Security, Asset Management, Physical & Environmental Security, Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, HR Security, System Acquisition, Development & Maintenance;
- to prevent and face risks, and to defend and protect information assets, people and things;
- to make ethics and trust central to the customer-supplier relationship.
IGSA will organize the event BRAND PROTECTION & SOSTENIBILITA' STRATEGICA (Brand Protection and Strategic Sustainability) to be held in Milan at the Swiss Chamber of Commerce on October 25, 2023.
This event aims to focus attention on the current 'vulnerability' to which the company's assets, consisting of information, people and things, are exposed and the actions that can be taken to protect, strengthen and transform them into a sustainable growth asset for the business itself. On the one hand it intends to address the risks related to threats and the impact of a 'violation' of corporate assets on brand reputation, and on the other hand to propose effective and sustainable strategies to prevent such incidents and strengthen the brand.
